The highlight of the landscaped design of the Europe district, the Jean Moulin park is entrusted to the landscape designer Jean Camand who finalizes the work in 1970. Extending over 1.4 hectares, it marks the identity of the district by its play of curves, its vegetated hills and its reflections on its lake. Its basin, nicknamed Lake Tyrol of 600 m2 and the canal of 300 m2 welcomed miniature boats and swims on sunny days.
The renovation carried out by the city of Reims in 2023-2025 allows water to return to the park in the form of a fountain and a rain garden, while the old basin hosts a green theater. During this two-part tour with the heritage and green spaces departments, dive into the history of this park and (re)discover this urban oasis.
