The Mediterranean Garden created in 1986 by the C.A.D.E. association is nestled under the medieval tower (Carolingian) of the village of Roquebrun. The Garden originates on south-facing terraces, protected from the Tramontane by the dolomitic organs (which capture the heat during the day and restore it at night), terraces giving Roquebrun the name of "La Nice de l'Hérault". On the site you will discover the most important collection of extraordinary plants in the department of Hérault. Succulent, Cacti... exotic plants that develop thanks to the passion of some gardeners. A botanical trail represents the local flora; it is completed by a collection of mimosas and a Mediterranean orchard.

On the occasion of the 23rd edition of the “Rendez-vous aux Jardins”, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Mediterranean Garden of Roquebrun invites you to enjoy three days of entertainment on the site.
On Saturday and Sunday, a guided tour of the Mediterranean garden is offered at 14:30 , for a duration of 1:30 , limited to 25 people. A privileged opportunity to immerse yourself in a remarkable garden, steeped in history, in the heart of a Mediterranean and exotic nature.
Domaine de Balaussan will offer, on Sunday 7 from 16 pm, a tasting of its grape wines for visitors.

Exhibition: Rendez Vous Jardins 2026

On the occasion of the XXIII edition of the “Rendez-vous aux Jardins”, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Mediterranean Garden of Roquebrun is giving an appointment to schools on Friday, June 5.The Art Végétal association of Causses-et-Veyran is associated with this event. Artists will exhibit their works on the site of the Mediterranean Garden and will offer a demonstration workshop for young audiences.
